1. Introduction

Welcome to evmart.lk. By accessing or using our website, listed services, and mobile application (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Platform.

2. Description of Service

evmart.lk serves as an online marketplace connecting buyers and sellers of electric vehicles (EVs), EV chargers, parts, and related services in Sri Lanka. We provide the platform for listing items but are not a party to the actual transaction between buyers and sellers. We do not own, sell, resell, or distribute the items listed on our site unless explicitly stated otherwise.

3. User Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and list items.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (email/password or OAuth logins).
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Listing and Selling

By posting a listing on evmart.lk, you agree that:

• You have the legal right to sell the item or service listed.
• Your listing details, including price, condition (New, Used, Reconditioned), and specifications, are accurate and truthful.
• You will not list prohibited items, including but not limited to illegal goods, stolen items, or counterfeit products.
• evmart.lk reserves the right to remove any listing that verifies as fraudulent, misleading, or violates our community guidelines without prior notice.

5. Buying

Buyers are encouraged to exercise due diligence. Since evmart.lk does not guarantee the condition of vehicles or parts, we strongly recommend inspecting items in person and verifying documents before making any payments. evmart.lk is not responsible for any financial loss arising from transactions initiated on the Platform.

6. Fees and Payments

Currently, listing items on evmart.lk is free. However, we reserve the right to introduce fees for premium features (e.g., promoted listings) in the future. Any such changes will be communicated clearly on the Platform. All payments for goods/services are handled directly between the buyer and seller.

7. Content and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the photos and descriptions you upload. However, by posting content, you grant evmart.lk a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute said content in connection with the operation and promotion of the Platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, evmart.lk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Platform; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the Platform; or (c) any unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

9. Modifications to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Platform after those changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
